Allana Harkin | Laugh Back Ring | Gold | Silver

Laugh Back

Allana Harkin knows that humour can do more than relieve the pressure. It can expose an absurdity, make an injustice impossible to ignore and help people keep their humanity when the news offers little encouragement.

Across writing, directing, producing and performance, Allana has built work that meets difficult subjects with precision rather than cruelty. Her comedy has an edge, but the point is not simply to wound. It is to find the human truth, say the thing clearly and refuse to let darkness control the tone of the room.

The ring carries that instinct in a spiral inspired by barbed wire. Its pointed form is unmistakable, yet the line remains elegant as it wraps around the finger. Gold adds warmth. Silver makes the structure feel even sharper.

Laugh Back is not about pretending everything is fine. It is about answering what hurts with intelligence, courage and the knowledge that darkness does not deserve the final word.
