Movement has been part of Ellora Patnaik’s life for as long as she can remember. Raised within an Odissi dance tradition and trained by her mother, Guru Chitralekha Patnaik, Ellora grew into an internationally recognized dancer, teacher and actor.

Dance and acting are not separate chapters in that story. Both ask the body to hold memory, emotion and intention. Both depend on rhythm, even in stillness. Across stage and screen, Ellora carries that understanding with her.
